Charles Louis Willems of East Lansing
Died Sunday June 28, 2020-age 88
Born Oct. 9, 1931 in Portland son of Anthony & Katherine (Spitzley) Willems.
Member of St. Martha's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus & AARP.
Attended US Naval Academy & proudly served in Korean War.
Charles practiced Law in Portland & surrounding areas.
Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary (2011), siblings, Donald 
Willems, Mary Etta Mercer & Ethelene Lillie.
Survived by his sister Margery Willems & several nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Thursday July 2, 2020 with Rev. 
Mike Alber officiating at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Rite of Committal will follow at Portland Cemetery.
Military honors by Portland VFW post #4090.
