The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, July 17, 1933

Mrs. Harriet J. Willett, 92, widow of A. Milan Willett, judge of probate of 
Ionia county from 1888 to 1892, died July 7 in Los Angeles, Calif.  The body 
will be brought to Ionia for burial.

Before her marriage to Mr. Willett she was Mrs. Northrup.  Her first husband 
was a member of the firm of Northrup & Hitchcock, who kept an implement store 
on Main street.  After the death of Mr. Willett about 20 years ago she went to 
California to live.

The message to Ionia was sent by Louis G. Sherman, of Los Angeles, a grandson, 
the son of Maude Sherman, well known in Ionia.
