WILLETT LAKE ODESSA - Carson E. Willett, 65, of East Tupper Lake Road, Lake Odessa, died Sunday at Provincial House, Hasting's, where he had been a patient at 11 days. He was born March 20, 1921, in Laingsburg, the son of Earl and Eva Tubbs Willett. He attended Laingsburg schools and graduated from Owosso High School in 1939. He was married to Margaret Apsey in 1957 in Harrison. He was employed by Builder's Lumber and Supply. Portland, until his retirement in March 1986 because of ill health. He attended the Churches of God in Sebewa and Grand Ledge. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Clara Sanderson of Pontiac, Judy Sanders of Roseville and Betty Meehan of Nashville; a son, William of Pontiac; three step-sons,Irving King of Cadillac, Douglas King of Ft.Meyers, Fla. and Rick King of Windsor, Calif., two step-daughters, Sharon Bruce of Lake Odessa and Sheila Becker of Clare; and 16 grandchildren. Also surviving; his father, Earl Willett of Owosso; three sisters, Vista Willett of Lansing, Ethel Spitler of St.Johns and Carol Pino of Sona Marcos, Texas. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa with the Rev. John Thorn and the Rev. George Aton officiating. Burial will be inLakeside Cemetery.
