The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Monday, March 17, 1919

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Viola Williams was held Tuesday.  The remains were 
taken to Ithaca for burial.  The deceased was the wife of Francis N. Williams 
of Matherton, and the daughter of the late Abram and Amanda Jessup, pioneers 
of that section.  Her age was about 53 years.
