The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, November 21, 1934

Arlene Carol Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ward Williams, of Easton 
township, died Wednesday morning of rheumatic fever.  She had been ill for the 
past two weeks and it settled in her heart a few days ago.  She had attended 
the Dexter school in Easton township for the past year and a half, and had 
always been an honor student. 

Surviving are her parents; a sister, Ruth, four years old; and her 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Snell.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon from the home at 1:30 and 
from the Easton community church at 2 o’clock.  Rev. F. G. Wright, of Saranac, 
will conduct the service.  Burial will be at the Easton cemetery.
