Ionia Sentinel Standard, 3 Sep 1946

William E. Williams died at his home in Saranac at 12:50 p.m. September 1 after
an illness of nearly two years.  Born in Eaton county, he moved to Saranac two
years ago from Lansing, where he had lived for 22 years.  He would have been 67
years of age September 18.

Survivors are his widow, Lottie; two sisters, Mrs. Millie Baston of Jackson and
Mrs. Goldie Secord of Fowlerville; one brother, Fay, of Lansing, and a nephew,
Jack Williams, of Milwaukee.

Pallbearers for the funeral services, which will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
from the Morris funeral home in Saranac, are Marlin Richmond, Will Draper, Dr.
M.B. Wilkinson, Ed. Randolph, and John and Gerald Adgate.  The Rev. Glenn
McCarty will officiate, with burial in the Smyrna church cemetery.
