Ward R. Williams, 90, of Stanton, passed away at Sheridan Hospital Monday, 
March 13, 1995.  He was born July 4, 1904, in Saranac to Cassius and Maude 
Baird Williams.  He was a member of Easton United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Williams of Stanton; two daughters and sons-
in-law, Ruth and Herbert Possehn of Arizona, and Marian and Charles Reglin of 
Ionia; one stepson, Bernard Galloup of Flint; two sisters, Beulah Parker of 
Ionia, and Lena Fletcher of Florida; and nine grandchildren, 15 great-
grandchildren, four step grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.  He 
was preceded in death by his first wife, Eunice Williams, in 1981; one 
daughter, Arlene; and one brother, Jessie.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home, 
Saranac, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment will be at Easton 
Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and relatives today from 2 to 4 and 
7 to 8:30 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Easton United 
Methodist Church.
