Ionia Sentinel Standard - 17 July 1943
Funeral services for Mrs. Laura L. Williams, 94, who died at her home in 
Hamburg, were held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Earle Williams home in 
Hamburg and from the Stone funeral home, Ionia, at 2:30 o'clock.  Rev. B. C. 
Culver, pastor of the Free Methodist church at Hamburg, officiated and burial 
was in Higbee cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ross Benedict, Floyd Benedict, Clair Norton, Roy Higbee, Ralph 
Carpenter and William Hart.

Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Earle Williams and daughter, 
Norma, of Hamburg; Mrs. John Pearce of Lakeland, Florida, Mr and Mrs. Roy 
Williams of Ypsilanti, Mrs. Arline Murray of Milan, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Norton of 
Smyrna, Mr and Mrs Roy Higbee of Portland, Mrs. Charles Hastings of Belding, Mr 
and Mrs. Elmer Benedict of Saranac, Mrs. Grace Brown and William Hart of 
Detroit, Mrs. Edward Albert of Muir and Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Higbee of Fenwick.
