SGT. LEROY WILLIAMS
Services will beheld Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Strauss funeral 
home in Stanton for Sgt. LeRoy Williams, 23, who was killed in Bunta, New 
Guinea, December 6, 1942, while a member of Company H. 

Williams, who joined the national guard in 1940, was a former Stanton high 
school athlete, starring in all three major athletics, principally football. 
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Williams of Stanton, formerly of Ionia.
