John Webster Williams II age 47 of Lansing passed away December 3, 2021. He was 
born January 2, 1974 in Ionia, Michigan the son of John W. and Esther L. 
(Miller) Williams. John graduated from Pewamo Westphalia High School class of 
1993. He owned and operated Design Rides in Ionia and Grand Ledge since 1995.

John married Melody Griffith July 14, 2012 at North Beach on Lake Michigan. He 
loved Cars and going to Car shows, working on projects at home and spending time 
with his family.

Surviving John is his loving wife Melody Williams of Lansing. Sons’ Parker John 
and Sutton Ryker and a new arrival soon. Mother Esther Williams of Pewamo. 
Sister Christine (Richard) Tannery of Lansing. Mother and Father- in- law Bruce 
and Nancy Griffith of Grand Ledge. Sister- in- law Allyson Griffith of Grand 
Ledge. Nephews Sebastian and Skyler Tannery.

He was preceded in death by his father John (died same day) and an infant son.

Funeral Services will be at Mt. Hope Church 202 S. Creyts Rd. Lansing, MI 48917 
Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Noon with Pastor Dave Williams officiating. 
Visitation will be at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia Wednesday 4-7 p.m. and 1 
hour prior to services at the church. Those wishing may make memorial 
contributions to a Scholarship Fund established for John’s Children at Lansing 
Christian School https://www.lansingchristianschool.org/support-lcs/giving/.
