Elizabeth May Williams was born in Woodland township on December 7, 1868, and passed away after an extended illness at the age of 75 years, eight months, and 24 days. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs John Bolton, pioneer residents of Woodland, and was married to Isaac Newton Williams on February 15, 1884. Except for 20 years spent on a farm near Dowling, she has been a resident of Woodland vicinity all her life. She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, two daughters, Mrs.Estella Farlee in Woodland, Mrs Elsie Perrin in Detroit, a daughter-in-law Mrs.Myrtle Williams at Dowling. Her son Floyd preceded her in death by two years. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Wing Funeral Home Sunday afternoon with the Rev. I.H. Osgood officiating. Burial was in Woodland Memorial Park.
