                              WILLIAMS
Esmond "Skip" Lee Williams age 82 of Saranac, MI passed away February 5, 2022. 
He was born inLivonia Twp.,MI on April 8, 1939 the son of Esmond and Dorothea 
(Poole) Williams.

He married Janet Griffen Carpenter in 1975, she passed away on July 14, 1997. 
Esmond later married Mary Pennington in 1998.

Esmond worked at Bradford White as a welder for 30 years.He loved traveling, 
camping, cars, dogs and fishing. He especially loved having fish fry's for the 
family and spending Thanksgiving with them. He adored his grandchildren and 
great-grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife, Mary Pennington-Williams of Saranac; children Esmond L. 
(Debbie) Williams of Saranac, Tina (Terri) Stalter of Portland,Vickie (Scott) 
Eighmey of Wisconsin, Beth (John) Daskak of Indiana and John (Laci) Griffen of 
Florida; step-sons, Martin (Betsy) Pennington of East Lansing and Alan (Sara) 
Pennington of Grand Rapids,former daughter-in-law, Linda; 18 grandchildren, 21 
great-grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 
parents; son, Ed Williams; siblings, Patsy, Sina, Dick and Betty.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the American 
Legion Post 175 in Saranac, MI from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM. Those wishing may make 
memorial contributions to Kindred Hospice. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral 
Home in Saranac. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com
