Excerpts from Saranac Obituary

WILLIAM "BILL" WILLIAMS

Died Saturday June 6, 2026-age 61 after a long illness.
Born on March 11, 1965 in Knoxville, TN to William & Delores Williams.
Bill moved to Michigan with his family at a young age.
Graduated from Saranac High School, class of 1983 where he played football, 
guitar, & singing talents.
After graduation, he served in the U.S. Marine Corp.
His career was serving the State of Michigan as a correction officer.
He loved his family & took joy in his children & grandchildren.
Bill was a fantastic cook with a flair for southern food.
He enjoyed camping & hiking trips to the mountains with his sons.
Survived by his sons, Benjamin & Lucas (Josie), his grandchildren, Leah, Cleo, 
Ivy and Gwen, his sisters, Loretta & Shirley.
Preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Maria.
A Memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 1PM at Saranac 
Community Church with Pastor Ethan Tews officiating
Interment with Military honors to follow at Easton Cemetery.
Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
