Ionia County News, 1 Oct 1942

Richard R. Williams, 77, died Saturday morning at three o’clock in Ionia
Community hospital where he had been taken on Thursday following a stroke, which
rendered him unconscious.  He did not regain consciousness.

Mr. Williams was born, April 30, 1865.  He is survived by his invalid wife, Ida
Kibbey-Williams and a brother, John G. Williams, Saranac, two sisters, Mrs. Amie
Price of Seattle Washington, and Mrs. Josephine Price of Toronto Ontario,
Canada.  He was married to Mrs. Ida Kibbey, March 25, 1940, whom he has tenderly
cared for during her illness of several months.  Funeral services were held
Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock.  Rev. J.W. Winger officiating and burial was
in Saranac cemetery.
