The Ionia Daily Standard, Thursday, December 12, 1912
Portland, Dec. 11—Word has just been received here of the death of Mrs. Hattie 
Williams at the home of her son, Frank, in Seattle, Wash.  Death was caused by 
Bright’s disease from which she has long been a sufferer.  The remains will be 
brought here for burial.  Mrs. Williams left here early in the fall to spend 
the winter with her son in the west.  She lived in this city many years and 
possessed many friends who mourn her untimely death.  A sister, Mrs. Ethel 
Brown, of Grand Rapids, is here for the funeral.
