Rites Held for Walter Willison
Walter Willison, 71, of Route 1, Clarksville, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1969, at
Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was born May 18, 1898, in Delton and had been a
resident of Clarksville since 1935. He was a life member of the Masonic lodge of Clarksville.

He was united in marriage on May 30, 1928 to Helen Karrar of Clarksville. She
preceded him in death on Dec. 27, 1965.

Surviving are two sons, Donald of Saranac and John of Charlotte; two daughters, Mrs.
Orville Slagle of Saranac and Mrs. Jack McCaul of Route 1, Clarksville; 14
grandchildren; two brothers, Jason and Elmer of Delton; seven sisters, Mrs. Mary Hartman 
of Three Rivers, Mrs. Jennie Harrington of Hastings, Mrs. Eva Beck of Galesburg, Mrs. Lena 
Durkee, Mrs. Vina Durkee, Mrs. Violet Waters and Mrs. Ina Payne, all of Delton.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2:00 at Clarksville Bible Church. Rev. Marvin
Stuart officiated and Interment was in Clarksville Cemetery.
