The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, December 27, 1943
Funeral services for Fordyce E. Williston, who died suddenly Friday at his 
home in Alanson, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Bradley 
funeral home.  Rev. Henry A. Hanson, rector of St. John’s Episcopal church, 
will officiate and burial will be in the family lot in Balcom cemetery.  The 
body arrived in Ionia Sunday from Alanson.

Surviving is a brother, James I. Williston of Ionia, and a sister, Mrs. D. L. 
Colwell of Clearwater, Fla.
