Lake Odessa Wave-Times Fri. October 15, 1920

Leland Rue Willits was born in Lyons township, Ionia county, Jan. 4, 1856. He 
departed this life Sept. 29, 1920.

He was married to Jennie E.Ritter Mar. 24, 1880.

To this union was born one son, Ray of Sebewa, and a daughter, Bertha Abbott of 
Charlotte. He was the youngest son of Laura and Stephen Willits of Lyons.

The funeral was from the home, Rev. Nagler of the Methodist church officiating. 
Miss Ilo Lucas and Mrs.Harley Owen sang.

He leaves to mourn their loss his wife, one son and one daughter, and four 
grandchildren, two half brothers and one half sister besides a host of friends.

He was laid to rest at the Lakeside cemetery.
