                          DR. CLAYTON O. WILLITS

NASHVILLE-Dr. Clayton O. Willits, 73, of Rural route 1, Nashville, died 
Saturday.

A former physician in the Saranac area from 1938 to 1946, he then moved his 
practice to Charlotte, where he practiced medicine until his retirement in 1971.

Survivors include his wife Frances; two daughters,Mrs.James Reid of Nashville, 
Mrs.Patricia Hoover of Battle creek; two step-daughters, Marilyn Hotchkiss of 
Ionia, Mrs.Jack Westmoreland of charlotte; two step-sons,Carl and Keith Simmons, 
both of Ionia; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs.Clara Pufpaff and Mrs.Paul 
Kessler, both of Hastings; two brothers Harold of Nashville, and Wilson of 
Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Burkhead Funeral Chapel in 
Charlotte, with burial in the Barryville Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established for the Hayes-Green-Beach Hospital 
Expansion Fund in Charlotte.
