Dorothy Frances Wilson, age 74, of Dade City, Fla., formerly of Ionia, passed 
away on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center.  She 
was born on February 5, 1930, in Morgan County, Ala., the daughter of Orville 
and Rosa Lee (Baldwin) Starr.  She married Charles Wilson on October 9, 1948.  
Dorothy was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She is survived by her three sons, Charles and Karen of Grand Ledge, Roger and 
Brenda of Ionia, and Jeff of Orleans; one daughter, Deb Wilson and Cara Howe of 
Grand Rapids; two brothers, Lonnie and Ann Starr of Hartzell, Ala., and Orville 
Starr Jr. of Sanford, NC.; grandchildren; Jaimie and Rob Dennis of Ionia, Mike 
Wilson and Alica McGruder of Marshall, Brandon and Mona Black of Chelsea, Jenny 
Black of Madison Heights, Tanya and Rich Ryan of Leslie, Tammy Wilson and Jim 
Click of Galion, Ohio, Matt and Amy Wilson of Grand Ledge, Ryan Wilson of 
Greenville, Austin Wilson of Ionia; great grandchildren, Brooke Satterlee, 
Dustin Satterlee, Jacob MacLeod, Joshua Dennis, Katelynn Dennis, Jessica 
Wilson, Hunter Ryan, Kyle Ryan, Sarae Wilson, Cameron Click, Faith Wilson, 
Paige McGruder, Mitchele Black, Breann Black and her companion, Russ 
Ingersoll.  Her parents, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

A benefit luncheon will be held at Jaimie and Rob’s house on Saturday, 
September 25, 2004 from 2 to 6 p.m., 3115 Westbrook Rd., Ionia.  Bring a dish 
to pass.  Any monetary donations will be greatly appreciated.  It will go to 
the National Cremation Society to cover their costs.  The memorial service will 
be held at Jaimie and Rob’s house on November 6, 2004, from 2 to 5 p.m.; 3115 
Westbrook Rd., Ionia.
