Ionia County News – Thursday, 11 June 1925
The funeral service for Arthur Wilson, 82, who died at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Ralph Cheney, 622 West Washington Street, was held Tuesday 
morning, with Rev. C. J. Kruse, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge.  
Interment was made at Kendallville, Indiana, his birthplace.  He was born on 
June 23, 1843, and was one of a family of nine children.  He was united in 
marriage in 1869 to Miss Minnie E. Burnham of Glenn Falls, N. Y.  Mr. Wilson 
had lived in this county since 1882.  He was active in the Methodist church 
activities.  He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Cheney, at whose home he 
died; one brother and two sisters in Indiana.  Mrs. J. G. Haas of Ionia is a 
granddaughter.
