Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Jun 1954

Mrs. Sarah Katherine Wilson, 77, died Monday morning at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Elsie Sturgis, at Grand Rapids.  She was a former Ionia resident 
having lived on a farm south of Ionia for several years.  She had been ill for 
about five months.

Surviving are her husband, Robert of Ionia; three daughters, Mrs. Elsie 
Sturgis, Mrs. Alta Gummo, and Mrs. Maud Honsinger all of Grand Rapids; one 
granddaughter, Mrs. Fern Stiles of Grand Rapids; one grandson, Gene Clark of 
Ionia and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Sullivan 
funeral home in Grand Rapids and burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens 
cemetery, south east of Grand Rapids.
