The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, June 1, 2000

Estell R. Wilson, 97, of Saranac, passed away May 26, 2000 at Heartland Health 
Care Center in Ionia.  She was born Dec. 24, 1902 in Boone County, Indiana, 
the daughter of Willis and Laura (Faulkner) Johnson.

Estell married Walter J. Wilson in 1925.  He preceded her in death.  Estell 
was an avid golfer and enjoyed the game for many years.  She is survived by 
one step-daughter, Genevieve Bryant of Otter Lake; six grandchildren; niece 
Mildred Kollat of Ind., and one grandnephew, David Kollat.

Cremation has taken placed upon her request and a memorial service will be 
held 10 a.m. Friday at the Saranac Community Church with Rev. Stanley 
Hagemeyer officiating.  Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to 
Heartland Hospice of Grand Rapids.  Arrangement were made by Lake Funeral 
Home, Saranac.
