The Ionia County News, Thursday, July 8, 1948

Hugh E. Wilson, 69, died at his home in Detroit, Saturday, July 3, and funeral 
service was held in Detroit Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Wilson, retired Detroit Edison employee was a resident of Ionia for many 
years.  He was born in Sebewa township and was a graduate of Ionia high school.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Gotts and Miss 
Clara Wilson, all of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Halzell and Miss Lucile 
Wilson of Ionia.  Mrs. Dalzell, Miss Wilson and Mrs. Elwood M. Brake attended 
the funeral service Tuesday.
