Ionia Sentinel 23 December 1966
Arthur Wilson, 77, an Ionia resident for many years, died Tuesday morning at 
the Veteran hospital in Saginaw following a long illness.  A farmer near 
Nickleplate road, Mr. Wilson was born August 8, 1889 in Watertown township, 
Clinton county and was the son of George and Harriet Wilson. In March of 1919 
he married Goldie Ludwick and she died in April of 1953.  He was a member of 
Lyons Baptist church and was employed by the old Ypsilanti-Reed Company.

Surviving are a son, Richard Wilson of Greenville; a daughter, Mrs. Vern Roach 
of Lyons; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. 
Claude Miller of Jackson and Mrs.. Max Wilkingson of Vermontville; a brother 
Louis Wilson of Eagle.

The body will be at Shaw-Rivett and Hull funeral home in Muir until noon 
Thursday when it will be taken to Lyons Baptist church for services at 2 pm  
Rev. Raymond Dell will officiate with burial in North Plains cemetery.
