Charles Albert Wilson 77, of Grand Rapids, Mich. and formerly of Ionia, passed 
away on Wednesday, July 30 at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born on Sept. 28, 1930, in Knox, Ind., the son of Albert Charles and 
Emma Rose (Corey) Wilson. He married Dorothy Starr on Oct. 9, 1948. Charles was 
a heating and cooling technician.

He is survived by three sons, Charles (Karen) Wilson of Grand Ledge, Roger 
(Brenda) Wilson of Ionia and Jeff (Lori) Wilson of Ionia; one daughter, Deb 
Wilson and Cara Howe of Grand Rapids; one brother, Bill (Ann) Wilson of 
Orleans; grandchildren, Jamie (Rob) Dennis of Ionia, Mike ( Alicia) Wilson of 
Muir, Brandon Black of Phoenix, Ariz., Jenny Black of Madison Heights, Tanya 
(Rich) Ryan of Leslie, Tammy (Jim Click) Wilson of Galion, Ohio, Matt (Amy) 
Wilson of Grand Ledge, Ryan Wilson of Greenville and Austin Wilson of Ionia; 
great-grandchildren, Brooke Satterlee, Dustin Satterlee, Jacob MacLeod, Joshua 
Dennis, Katelyn Dennis, Jessica Wilson, Hunter Ryan, Kyle Ryan, Sarae Wilson, 
Cameron Click, Caden Click, Faith Wilson, Paige McGruder, Mitchele Black, 
Breann Black and his companion Gerry Sharp.

His father and Dorothy preceded him in death.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008 at 1 p.m. at 3115 
Westbrook Rd., Ionia. Refreshments to follow. Located 2 miles North of 
Bluewater Hwy. (M-21) between Ionia and Muir.
