Ionia County News - Thurs. Feb. 6, 1941

Otis Wilson, 82, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Irwin Moon, in South 
Ionia Monday, February 3. He had been ill two weeks. Mr. Wilson was born 
September 28, 1858 in Clare county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Wilson. When 
he was six years old the family came to Ronald township and settled on a farm 
now occupied by his son, Irl Wilson.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Moon and Mrs. Harold Howe of Palo; one son, 
Irl, of Ronald; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was from Boynton’s Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. Dunbar 
officiating.
