Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. Feb. 12, 2009

Phyllis Marie Wilson, aged 72, of Saranac, passed away Feb. 10, 2009 in Grand 
Rapids.

She was born June 20, 1936 in Wheeling, W. V. the daughter of Joseph and 
Florence (Brown) Hayman.

She owned and operated Adult Foster Care Homes in Ionia County for over 40 
years. She was a member of Ionia Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her children Cathy (Scott) Heiss of Saranac, Kimberly 
(Timothy) Antonides of Orleans, Christal (Jay) Bradley of Saranac, Karen (Joe 
Dora) Conklin of Ionia, Collette (Shane) Wheelock of Saranac, Warren “Bud” 
Wilson of Saranac, Jill Everett of Ionia and Annie Everett of Ionia; 
grandchildren; Deanna, Kristie, Bryan, Adam, Staci, Chi, Brooke Elle, Michael, 
Brandon, Nicholas, Amber, Toby, Ashlei, Zachary, Levi and Gabrielle; 17 great-
grandchildren and many loving brothers and sisters. She will be sadly missed by 
her best friend Elaine Gibbs of McQuarrie.

Memorial Services for Phyllis will be held Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 at 11 a.m. at 
the Ionia Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Kirk Starkweather officiating. 
Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to Ionia Church of the Nazarene
