Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Sat. June 3, 1967

Sumner H. Wilson, 84, a lifelong resident, died Friday afternoon at a nursing 
home in Belding after an illness of eight months.

Before retirement Mr. Wilson was associated with the United States post office 
in Belding and also a former banker.

His widow Mildred R. Wilson survives him and also two daughters, Mrs. Florence 
Cornwell and Mrs. A. G. Kellogg, and one son, David, all of Belding; eight 
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 pm at Fitzjohn-Courser funeral 
home in Belding with Rev. Wilford D. Wood officiating and burial will be in 
River Ridge cemetery in Belding.

Memorial is being established for American Cancer society, Ionia county chapter.
 
There will be no funeral home visitation.
