Ionia Standard - Fri. Jan. 29, 1897

Wm. H. Wilson died at 10:30 Thursday eve. He had been in poor health for a long 
time, but had been confined to the house only a few days. He was prominent in 
the G. A. R., and was a member of the Martial bane. He saw duty as a soldier 
with the new Fourth Michigan infantry. His age was 48. The funeral took place 
on Sunday afternoon – 1:30 at house; 2 at M. E. Church.
