Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 18 Dec 1933

Gilbert W. Wilson, 62, died Saturday in Traverse City.  Funeral services will be
conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock, at Boynton funeral chapel.  Burial will
be in Oak Hill cemetery.  The bearers will be B. R. Ely, A.A. Baxter, Henry
Voelker, Montgomery Webster, A.B. Spidle, and Glenn D. Mathews.

He was born in Ionia the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Wilson and had lived his
life here, where he had been in the insurance business.  He was a member of the
Presbyterian church and had served as elder.

Surviving is one brother, William K. Wilson, of Grand Rapids; nephews, Lee
Wilson Hutchins, Henry D. Wilson, Seymour B. Wilson, Hugh E. Wilson; two
cousins, Mrs. George E. Nichols and Henry J. Kennedy.
