Parke T. Wilson, 94, died at his Long Lake home Sept 12.  He had been a resident
there 36 years.  He was born February 9, 1868 in Ionia.  He married Emmaline
Danforth in 1908.

Mr. Wilson owned and operated a photo studio in Ionia for 14 years.  He retired
in 1947.  He was also a member of Ionia Elks for over 60 years.  He was a
candidate in the first class to be initiated into the order.  At the time of his
death he was the second oldest member of the organization.  He was also a member
of the Orleans Methodist church.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Boynton Funeral Home in Ionia with
Rev. Lee Long officiating.  Burial was in Orleans Cemetery.  Pall bearers were
Blain Laden, Arthur Lind, John Toutenhooftd and Henry MacDonough.
