Margaret, affectionately known as “Polly,” 59 years old, passed away following a heart attack at the cottage near Sand Lake where they were living. She had been ailing for several weeks. She was born in this city June 1, 1901, the daughter of Jesse and Laura Wilbur and had lived here most of her life. She was married September 5, 1925, to Loyd Wilson and he survives. Polly was a member of First Congregational church and the Laura Wilbur guild which was named for her mother and also a member of Doric chapter No. 75, O.E.S. Surviving besides her husband are her uncle, Ed Driese of Lansing and cousins. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 o’clock at the First Congregational church, Rev. Thomas Rebentish and Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating. Officers of Doric chapter conducted the memorial service and burial was in River Ridge cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Ellis Funeral Home.
