She was born in Tiffin, Ohio, June 16, 1872, and had lived in Plymouth, Ind., and South Bend. With her husband, Laurel E. Wilson, and their three sons, she came to this city 33 years ago when he was a foreman in the Belding-Hall refrigerator factory. After nine years they moved to Grand Rapids and returned here about 10 years ago. Mr. Wilson passed on about a year later and Mrs. Wilson had made her home with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Wilson since that time. In January, 1948, she broke her arm and was taken to the Ionia nursing home where she was cared for until her death. She was the last member of the family of eight children of Joseph Sheetz and she is survived by three sons, Ralph A., of Crescent City, Calif.; Walter J., of Morrison Lake Gardens, and Loyd of this city; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was a life time member of the Catholic church and the rosary will be recited at the Ellis Funeral Home tonight at 8 o’clock. Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic church Friday at 9 o’clock, Rev. Fr. Charles Steves officiating and burial will be in River Ridge cemetery beside her husband. Pall bearers will be Art Dehn, John Dehn, Si Dehn, Elwood Rockefeller, L. Glenn Lambertson and John Rumohr.
