The Ionia Daily sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 23, 1953


Joseph Wilson of Orleans Route 1, died Saturday at 8:30 at the Eckert Nursing 
Home, where he had been a patient for nine days.  He was born February 2, 1882, 
in England.  Mr. Wilson worked until the last two or three years at the Ionia 
Manufacturing Co.  He lived with his daughter, Mrs. Robert Pomerville of 
Orleans.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert Pomerville of Orleans; five 
sisters; one brother; two grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Myers funeral home with 
the Rev. George L. Rentschler officiating.  Interment will be in Oak Ridge 
cemetery at Bay City.
