Wilson, 85, of 7678 Allan Road, Fenwick, died today, Sept. 30, 2003, at Metron of Belding. She was born May 1, 1918, in Lone Rock, Wis., the daughter of Ralph H. and Belle E. Beardsley Harter. She married Philip I. Wilson on March 25, 1946, in Madison, Wis. Mrs. Wilson was a resident of the Fenwick area since 1946, formerly of Madison, Wis. She retired from the Michigan Employment Security Commission and was a member of Sheridan VFW Post 5065 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann; sister, Mary Jane; and son-in-law, Bill Lockey. She is survived by her husband, Philip I. Wilson; daughter, Gloria J. Lockey of Niles; son and his wife, Philip C. and Cathy Wilson of Fenwick; two grandsons, Ryan and Matthew Wilson; granddaughter, Miho Koizumi; sister, Nadine and Einar Hammer of Madison, Wis.; special niece, Marilyn and Lynn Swanson of St. Paul, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday at Shiloh Community Church, Orleans, with Pastor Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment is in Woodard Lake Cemetery, Fenwick. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Stebbins & Simpson Funeral Home, Sheridan. The family suggests memorial considerations to Shiloh Community Church or the American Cancer Society.
