L. Scott Wilson, 43, of Greenville, passed away Monday, July 24, 2006.  The son
of Larry J. Wilson and Joyce Ann Thomson, he was born Sept 9, 1962, in
Greenville.  He attended Greenville High School and was employed with S. Abraham
& Sons (SAS) in Grand Rapids since 1992.  A devoted father, he found his
greatest joy in spending time with his family and delighted in working on cars
with his son.  On May 16, 1991, in Greenville, he married Colleen S. Terry.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen; children, Beth Ann and Sgt. Jason Matthews
with the U.S. Air Force, Jessica Evans of Kentwood, Corey Scott Wilson, at home;
granddaughter, Sammie Lynn Rische; father, Larry J. Wilson and Paula Brancheau
of Greenville; mother, Joyce Thomson of Greenville; two sisters, Deb and Vic
Foster of Greenville, Kim Hall and friend, Steve, of Sidney; and many many
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday at Shiloh Community Church, Orleans, with
Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  A luncheon will follow the service, with burial
taking place privately in Rest Haven Memory Gardens.  Visitation is from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral Home, 511 S.
Franklin St., Greenville.  Instead of flowers, Scott would have appreciated
contributions to a fund for his children.  Envelopes will be available at the
funeral home.
