James C. Wilson, 79, of Belding, died Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Spectrum Health 
in Greenville. Jim was born on Sept. 7, 1932 in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, the son of 
William and Mary (Waller) Wilson.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. 
He later retired from Extruded Metals Corp. He attended Shiloh Community 
Church, was a member of the Sheridan VFW and the Music Jams. In earlier years 
he enjoyed archery, camping, hunting, fishing and riding motorcycle.

He was preceded by his parents; his first wife, Opal, on Aug. 4, 1982; his 
brothers, Herm, William "Bud", Donovan, John, George, Harold and Harvey; his 
sisters, Emma and Bertha "Toots"; one son, William in infancy; and one 
granddaughter, Casey.

Jim is loved and survived by his wife, Marie Calkins-Olsen, and their children, 
Bonnie and Dave Pierson, Connie Hodges and Carl Badour all of Belding, Ed and 
Deanna Olsen of Muskegon, Bill Olsen of Belding and Marilyn and Mike Kamps of 
Cedar Springs. Jim is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren 
and one sister, Helen Sibert of Sumner.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will 
be 4 p.m. Friday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. 

Committal prayers have taken place at Otisco Township Cemetery, Belding. 
Funeral and Cremation services were entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral 
Home, Belding.
