KENNETH WILSON SR.
IONIA - Kenneth J. Wilson, Sr., 54, of 1341 Nickle Plate road, died Thursday evening
at Blodgett Memorial hospital after being a patient there for one day.

He was born in Grand Rapids in Grand Rapids April 16, 1922, the son of Edward and
Addie Boynton Wilson.

Mr. Wilson lived most of his life in Grand Rapids and was a veteran of World War II
serving with the U.S. Army.

He was employed by the city of Grand Rapids for 22 years and for the last five years
was employed at the Conway Corporation in Grand Rapids.

He married the former Mary Mier Higbee June 14, 1976 in Ionia and made his home on 
Nickle plate road since that time.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert of Grand Rapids and Kenneth Jr. of
Hastings; four daughters; Mrs. Harvey (Henrietta) Kimbel of Howard City, Mrs. Bernard (Sandra)

Chesbro of Grand Rapids; Mrs. Harold (Linda) Mier of Newaygo and Debra Wilson of
Cedar Springs; 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Ray (Annabelle)
Clemens of Hastings. Services are Monday at 1  pm from the Leddick funeral home with
Rev. Roy A. Pitts of First Baptist church officiating.

Burial will be in Tuttle cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home to receive friends and relatives Saturday and
Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
