                          Esther G.(Scott) Wilson

Esther G. (Scott) Wilson, 88 of Lansing, formerly of Lowell, passed away Dec.13, 
2010. She was born March 27, 1922, in Keene Township, the daughter of Ivan and 
Iva (Goff) Hewitt.

She was a member of the Saranac American Legion Auxiliary, and a past member of 
the Eagles. Esther worked at Amway before retiring in 1987 and also worked at 
Corcorans in Ionia.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Ross) Sherman of Lansing, Peg "Sharon" 
(Rex) Powell of Maryland, and Donna Bean of Arizona; six grandchildren and nine 
great-grandchildren; brothers LaVern (Leola) Hewitt of Woodland, Clare (Betty) 
Hewitt of Lowell, and Donald Hewitt of Lowell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Scott in 1966.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec.29, at Lake Funeral Home 
in Saranac with Rev.Kenneth Harger officiating. Anyone wishing may make memorial 
contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the American Legion Post in 
Saranac.
