                WILSON

Jeanette Elaine Wilson, age 68, of Portland, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 
2024 peacefully surrounded by her family. Jeanette was born on December 11, 
1955, the daughter of Lewis and Betty(Font) Ingraham in Lansing,MI.

Jeanette graduated from Portland High School in 1974. She worked for Barley 
Earhardt Company from 1978 until 1995. After which she began working in the Home 
Health Care Field.

Jeanette enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, cooking and taking care of people.She 
loved fishing and took many trips with her grandson.She loved her family. She 
spent her time in her younger ears participating in 4-H, going to horse shows, 
working on her family farm, and was a member of the Ionia County Sheriff's Posse 
for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenny (Michael) Harp of lyons, brothers, Bill 
(Cheryl) Jorgensen of Alpena, Kevin Ingraham of Ionia. Tim (Beth) Ingraham of 
Portland. Gary Brown of South Carolina and Terry Brown of Greenville; 
grandchildren, Jennessa (Daniel) Hengesbach, Joshua (Samatha) Taylor,Matthew 
Harp, Mason Harp and Marissa Harp, great-grandchildren, Hudson Hengesbach, Ellie 
Hengesach and Nolan Hengesbach; special friends, Kim Stanley and JoAnn Taylor.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her sister, Twana Dies, brother-in-law, Tom 
Dies; and the love of her life, Phillip Greenway.

A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held at the VFW in Portland 1324 
e.Bridge St.on September 22nd at Noon. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home
