Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 4 Dec 1948

Edwin “Ted” Wilson of Portland died at the Ionia County Memorial hospital 
Friday evening.  He suffered a stroke September 11 and has been a patient there 
since that time.

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Banfield funeral home in 
Portland with interment in Portland.

His only survivors are a nephew and nieces including Fred Brickley, Mrs. A. J. 
Chamberlain and Mrs. L. D. Hair of Ionia, Mrs. Harve Phillips of Grand Rapids, 
Mrs. Neal Friendly of Boyne City and Mrs. Edgar Aldrich of Atlanta, Ga.
