Sentinel-Standard - Wednesday, Feb. 29, 1928

The funeral for Bert Wilson, who died early Sunday morning at his home at Butternut
was 
held at his late home Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. N.D. Potter. Mrs. George 
Tasker and Blanch Haddow furnishing the singing. Mrs. Wilson came to Ronald township
50 
years ago with is parents from Kendallville, Ind., and lived near and in the village
of 
Palo until last spring when he sold his home here and went to Butternut. February
21, 
he was stricken with pneumonia and passed away February 26, aged 61 years. Tuesday 
morning the body was taken to Kendallville for burial in the family lot beside his 
father and mother.
