The Belding Banner, Thursday, July 20, 1899


The remains of Titus C. Wilson were brought here from Port Huron for burial 
Saturday, the funeral service being held at the residence of his daughter, 
Mrs. Jas. E. Ferguson, Sunday afternoon.

Mr. Wilson was 62 years old and was born in Queenstown Heights, Ont.  He was a 
resident of Belding several years and carried on the marble works here, and 
his first wife is buried in the old cemetery.  For the past fourteen years he 
has lived in Port Huron.

Rev. Stanley F. Bloomfield, of Detroit, officiated at the service.  Frank 
Wilson and wife and Edward Wilson, of Chicago, and Mrs. Wilson and daughter 
Marguerite, of Port Huron, were here with the remains.
