She had been in poor health for the past two years, but did not leave her work until this spring and only took to her bed about four weeks ago. She had been employed in the telephone exchange in this place for the last two years and was quite well known to Lake Odessa people. She was born in Sebewa 32 years ago and was one of a family of eleven children, eight of whom are still living, two sisters having died of consumption. William and George Briggs of this place are her brothers and beside them there is one brother and five sisters. The funeral was held in Sunfield yesterday at 2 o’clock, Rev. J. H. Wilcox officiating. Interment was made in Lakeside cemetery.
