Judge Charles L. Wilson, aged 75 years, died at his residence in Saranac 
Sunday morning after an illness which had afflicted him for some time back.  
Judge Wilson was a highly esteemed and respected citizen of Ionia county and 
had at one time been judge of probate of this county and at one time also 
served the county as its prosecuting attorney.  For 50 years he has been 
closely identified with every movement which has stood for the good of the 
community and his friends throughout the county are legion.

The funeral services were held at his late home Tuesday afternoon at 1 
o’clock, the Ionia Knights Templar of which he was a member, being in charge 
of the same.
