She was born Rose Roth, Sept. 13, 1887, daughter of John C. and Anna Roth, of Lowell. She lived there until her marriage to William Winchell of Ionia June 17, 1907. She has made her home here since that date. Mrs. Winchell was a member of the Lowell Methodist church. Surviving are the husband, William; a son, Thomas Roth Winchell of Danville, Va.; a daughter-in-law, Cleo Winchell of Danville, Va., who lived here with Mr. and Mrs. Winchell for three years; four sisters, Mrs. Elsie Zahm of Lowell, Mrs. Fannie Wenger and Mrs. Ann Weisheimer of Grand Rapids and Wesley A. Roth of Lowell, Walter A. Roth of Ann Arbor and Dr. Emil Roth of Grand Rapids. The body was removed to the Roth funeral chapel in Lowell where she will lie from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Friends may meet the family there at that time. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. from the Roth funeral chapel with interment in Lowell cemetery.
