Funeral service for Mrs. Eliza Winchell, 86, was conducted at 10 o’clock Tuesday
morning at the downtown Truesdale chapel in Kalamazoo with graveside service at
2 p.m., at Highland Park cemetery in Ionia.  The Rev. Kenneth Seeley officiated.

Mrs. Winchell, the widow of Walter Winchell a former Ionia businessman, died
early Saturday morning.  She had made her home in Kalamazoo the past several years.

She is survived by a son, Dr. Philip M. Winchell of Kalamazoo; two daughters,
Mrs. Ruth Cloutier of Southfield, and Mrs. Florence Johnson of Arlington
Heights, Ill.; four grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Clarence Winchell
of Ionia.
