Sentinel-Std. - Thursday, 27 October 1949

Robert F. Witchell, 17, of 122 Adams street died at his home at 3 a.m. 
Thursday after suffering with rheumatic fever for the past 3 1/2 years

He was born Oct. 6, 1932 in Fowler, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elon Witchell. 
The family came here from Fowler six years ago and he attended SS. Peter and 
Paul Academy until ill health forced him to leave two years ago.

Surviving are the parents; two sisters, Mrs. James O'Brien of Hubbardston 
and Mrs. Edsel Robinson of Newberry; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leon 
Witchell of Haslett and Mr. and Mrs. George Hasford of Perry.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. Fr. John R. Fons at the SS. Peter and 
Paul church Saturday at 9 a.m. following prayer services at Myers funeral 
home at 8:30 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Rosary will be said at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Friday.
