                  Joyce Winchester

Died January 6, 2023-age 95 at Grandville, Michigan
Born February 3, 1927 in Ionia,Mich. the daughter of Fay & Marie (Mann) Nash.
Did Nurse's training at Wayne Stte University, & then Butterworth School of 
Nursing at Grand Rapids.Worked as a nurse at Butterworth Hospital.
Married Forrest Winchester December 21, 1948, soon became a stay-at-home mom to 
three children.
Later completed her 4 year degree at Aquinas College & taught Nursing at 
Butterworth School of Nursing until her retirement.
After retiring Joyce volunteered for the Nellie Clements Guild, the Auxiliary 
Board, and the hospital's Coffee Shop.
Also a member of the Spectrum health Foundation Board, serving in many roles.
Joyce received the Art of Giving Award from the Spectrum Health Foundation & 
Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Foundation.
Joyce & Forrest loved to travel, golf & spend time with family & friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Forrest A.Winchester, and her parents.
Survived by her children, Mark & Sherry Winchester, Pam Winchester & Michael & 
Sandra Winchester. Also a brother, Don & Elaine Nash & their families her 
grandchildren, Matt (Stephanie) Kribs, Justin (Ashley) Kribs, Jodi Hillman, 
Melissa Winchester; and the loves of her life her great-grandchildren, Kaily, 
Keaton, Mari, Maison, Delaney, Jackson, Tycen, Cado, & Aemilia.
A service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023, at First Reformed Church of 
Byron Center, SW with Pastor James Van Zetten officiating.
Visitation at 10:00 AM prior tot he service at THE ROCK at Church.
Service will begin at 11:00 AM with lunch following.
Interment will be at Winchester cemetery, Byron Center, Michigan.
Those wishing may leave memorial gifts to the Spectrum Health Foundation for the 
Forrest and Joyce Winchester Fund for Cardiovascular Excellence.
